Jeanne Fuller is a multi-faceted professional known for her work as an author, early childhood and elementary educator, organizer, and business owner. She is passionate about literacy, organization, and empowering others through education and self-help resources.
She is an author and co-author of multiple books. She co-authored the Simplify-Do More Living series with Kathy Barcroft, and has written personal journaling books, gratitude journals, and organizational guides. She has developed a children’s book series, Penguin Procession (TM), inspired by her time as an educator and her work with young children.
Her work emphasizes literacy, organization, and education as a way to find direction, create freedom, and discover joyful learning throughout life. She has contributed to early childhood curriculums, parent guides, and recommendations of developmentally appropriate tests for young children published by the Psychological Corporation and the former HBJ Publishers (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc.).
Jeanne believes that literacy changes lives and that organizing one’s thoughts and environment can lead to greater personal freedom and happiness. She hopes her writing helps readers find inspiration, identify their own methods of organization, and improve their daily lives.
She has mentored exceptionally talented university interns in building standout portfolios across a range of specialties — business, design, security, research, and education — several of whom went on to launch careers at Cisco, the Pentagon, and a major magazine publisher, while others struck out as entrepreneurs in their own right. The internship for The Painting Penguin holds a special place: she's enjoyed seeing the illustrations take shape and is excited to watch readers' responses to the finished book.
Jeanne has been happily married to her college sweetheart since 1973. She says her lucky number is apparently two, as they have two sons they are very proud of, two beautiful daughters-in-law, two totally awesome grandchildren, and two dogs who love to go walking and entertain them daily!
